WAC needs you!!! WAC officials for the 2024-2025 season

For both home and away meets, each team is responsible to supply a certain number of certified officials for the meet. If we don't,  the meet officials may prohibit swimmers from earning points, awards, ribbons, or swimming in finals. Although rare, this does happen.  Each practice group may attend different sessions and even different meets. This means officials are needed from each age group.  WAC is in need for officials from every age group, but especially from the Cardinal and Black practice groups.

 

This is the time of year when training for officials begins, and is the perfect time for new officials to start. No swim experience or knowledge of the rules is required. We will train you on the rules of each stroke, and mentor you with a more experienced official before you are asked to do it on your own.
